Code example of spfx webpart for replacing SPS 2016 classic listform webparts

Based on everything I've read it sounds like the new/edit/display webparts for a SharePoint 2016 List classic can be replaced with spfx webpart but I'm unable to find an example.  Can some share an example?

I've successfully built spfx webpart example as a SPA with SharePoint CRUD but would now like to learn how to replace Listform webparts.

Beginner at spfx coding.
