Schedule option not appearing after creating a project

Hi there, 

I'm having difficulties with editing a project schedule on SharePoint (browser). I managed to create the project but the option of "schedule" that usually appears on the left-hand side of the screen does not appear. I can't add tasks and resources. Can you please assist?
