How to add a category field in a MSP task form?

Can I/we add a special Category Field to a task. We would like to use it as a filter in views. (We are trying out MSP to se if we can use it - and are completely newbees 🙂 )&nbsp;

It would help to know what version of Project you are using (i.e. one of the 365 plans, 1, 2 or 3, stand alone version, etc.).&nbsp;Basically, Project has multiple extra Text, Cost, Number, Flag, and other fields that can be associated with any task, resource or assignment.
