Azure Bulk Credits (Production)
Can Partner Success Expanded Benefits Azure Bulk Credits (Production) Be Attached to an Existing Subscription?
The Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program Benefits Guide mentions that Partner Success Expanded Benefits give $4000 Azure Bulk Credits (Production). I've looked through the FAQs and documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/membership/partner-success-core-benefits however, the context does not specify whether these credits can be directly applied to an existing production subscription or if they must be used with a separate Azure Sponsored Subscription.
Can those credits be applied to an existing production subscription? It seems logical due to the fact that the name of the benefit is Azure Bulk Credits (Production).
I need to have an official confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the Azure credits upon renewal of the Partner Success subscriptions can only be assigned to a new Azure subscription each year? Or can those credits be used to continue the initial Azure subscription (the one that was created and assigned the Azure bulk credits on the first year that the partner purchased the Partner Success subscription)? It would be very painful for partners to redeploy to new subscriptions every year.

Azure credits can only be activated to a new Azure subscription and you need to have a credit card linked to it as well. You can't use Azure credits with an Azure subscription thru CSP for example.
Also note that the credits are linked to the tenant that purchased the Benefits Package. You can't activate the credits in a different tenant, which you can do with the licenses that are part of the same packages.

Hi Sabina,
It appears that the Partner Success credits can only be supplied to a new subscription. So applying it to an existing production subscription seems out of the question.
The instructions of activation include a link to : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/partner-center/mpn-benefits-azure-cloud#steps-to-activate-azure-credits-on-azure-portal
