Share a single folder with multiple viewers

Hi,

I'm searching what's the right subscription to buy to get this:

 

My requirements:

  • share a single folder (containing 10 million photos) with 100 read-only viewers
  • view photos as gallery
  • different folder password for each viewer
  • not requiring viewers to create an account or log in
  • capability to manually disable the password/access of a user of my choice

What package do I need to buy to get this?

365?

365 Family?

One Drive Enterprise ?

365 Business Basic ?

365 Business Standard?

Other?

    While OneDrive for Business provides robust sharing capabilities, it may not meet all your specific needs, especially regarding per-user passwords and anonymous access without login.

     

    Different folder password for each viewer:

    OneDrive does not support setting individual passwords for shared folders per viewer. You can create separate links with unique passwords for each viewer, but this approach is manual and not scalable for 100 users.

     

    Anonymous folder sharing without login:

    Microsoft may prompt users to sign in for certain types of content or based on organizational settings, which can lead to inconsistent experiences.

     

    View photos as a gallery:

    OneDrive provides a basic thumbnail view for images. While functional, it lacks advanced gallery features like customizable layouts or enhanced navigation suitable for large photo collections.​

     

    Given your need for per-user password protection, gallery viewing, and access control without requiring user accounts, a dedicated photo sharing platform or a cloud storage service with advanced sharing capabilities would be more suitable than OneDrive for Business.

    Like Dropbox Business or Google Drive with third-party tools.
