Share a link - default to view rather than edit
Every time I create a link to share with someone, the default option is that anyone with the link can "edit". Can I make it so the default is that anyone with the link can "view"? There are only a few rare instances where I want people with the link to be able to edit.

If you're using OneDrive for business, you can change that in the SharePoint admin center >> Policies >> Choose the permission that's selected by default for sharing links >> Select View
