Cannot add a new account - keyboard input not working
I'm on Windows 11 with a Onedrive Personal account already set up. I now want to add a Onedrive Business account. I click "Add an account" and am shown a screen where I can enter an email address. However, I cannot type anything into the address field. The keyboard just doesn't work.
I tried multiple times. Also rebooted. I've had Personal and Business accounts set up on the same PC before without problems. Seems like a bug.
Can anyone verify this behavior happens for them too?

smoothbook
We've got this issue, can't type into OneDrive sign in box...
The problem inputting text for us kicks in as soon as the animation loads. We can type for less than a second before the bloke appears, sitting down on a bench acting happy that he's signing into OneDrive, when really he's probably just staring disappointedly at his PC.Seems to be affecting version 24.050.0310.0001
About to test now on 23.203.1008.0002
- MobaanCopper ContributorCracked it:
Copied the email address into Notepad, had it ready to paste within the clipboard and pasted it in before the animation loads. After that the password box is through the additional pop-up, so no worries there.
Hopefully fixed with the next release, but not unless we make some noise about this issue!- OrtishiCopper Contributorthank you!! this worked on me 😄
- robnicholsonmaltBrass ContributorSame problem here - new Windows 11 test VM and unable to add another account. Nice one Microsoft! Repeated on several computers so far.

smoothbook I have also discovered this occurring on devices running OneDrive version 24.062.0326.0002. We have students who login to our computer lab devices and then connect to OneDrive to save data and are running into this issue. I hope it gets fixed soon.
I was able to open a support request through out M365 contract.I also notice that my clients updated to a insider version even though they should be on the production version of OneDrive.
- RobBetzCopper ContributorSupport emailed me back for the first time today saying they had reached out before and if I don't reply soon they'll close the case. lol. Terrible support practice. I checked and no email had come from them until now.
- jmummaomCopper ContributorLet us know if you get anywhere with them, MS wants fiddler traces, not sure why won't help much, but then also a video recording of the issue....ooooof! I sent him the link to this thread even and he said their team can't duplicate the issue.
- C3M3_Copper ContributorI can't sign in either. But then again, I keep having to sign into One Drive because it constantly throws me out. Microsoft is just full of bugs.
- davidsainCopper ContributorInstalled OneDrive yesterday on Win11 Ent. Same issue. Click out of the dialog and back in and it works.
- pembertjCopper ContributorAppears to be fixed in 24.076.0414.0005 that was released
- Keith EmmonsCopper ContributorI agree it does appear to be fixed with this newer version.
