Attaching One Drive files to Outlook email via Iphone
I've been attaching One Drive files to emails for years with no issues. All of a sudden, I consistently get the message "Something went Wrong"
What is going wrong?
BTW, I CAN still perform this function from my laptop, so it's an Iphone issue only.
Appreciate any help!!

This is crazy! I am trying to run a business and this has significantly impacted me having to be on te road and can no longer access my files in email. And Microsoft HAS NO ANSWERS on how to fix what they have obviously broken. If you come up with a solution, please let me know and I will do the same!

Hi Kim, I’m sorry this issue impacts your business. In the meantime, I’ve found a workaround. When I Attach File in Outlook, I do not choose My Files (which leads to the message: Something went wrong), but I choose Other Locations: iCloud Drive & Device. Then I select OneDrive, Files, and the file I want to attach. I hope this works for you too! Best wishes!

Worked! You just need to make sure your one drive is in your iCloud Drive and Device location. Mine wasn’t, if yours isn’t just search “how can I make my iPhone see ms’ OneDrive as a location” phil0124 solution worked to find it. Good luck!

Hello, I’m also having this same problem. I removed and reinstalled the OneDrive app from my iPhone, but this didn’t solve the issue. The message ‘Something went wrong’ is not very helpful as it does not give any information about what exactly went wrong and what I can do to fix this problem.

The error message “Something went wrong” when attaching OneDrive files to emails on your iPhone indicates that there might be an issue with the OneDrive app on your iPhone. You can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1.Update the OneDrive app: Make sure that you have the latest version of the OneDrive app installed on your iPhone. You can check for updates in the App Store.
2.Clear the OneDrive cache: Clearing the OneDrive cache can help resolve issues with the app. To clear the cache, open the OneDrive app, go to Settings, select Clear Cache, and then tap Clear Cache again to confirm.
3.Reinstall the OneDrive app: If clearing the cache doesn’t work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the OneDrive app on your iPhone. To do this, press and hold the OneDrive app icon until it starts to wiggle, tap the X in the corner of the icon, and then confirm that you want to delete the app. After deleting the app, go to the App Store, search for OneDrive, and then download and install it again.
If none of these steps work, you can try contacting Microsoft support for further assistance.

Hi there
Did you ever find a solution to this? Mine is also having this same issue. I've done all of the steps recommended, also contacted Microsoft. Their support was like talking to a brick wall. After several days of emails back and forth and answering the same questions over and over again.....nothing!!!! I have to now carry a laptop with me everywhere I go to send emails with attachments in the app for iPhone.
