Sustainability management in Business Central

No — Sustainability Management in Business Central is available with both Essentials and Premium. It isn't one of the Premium-exclusive application areas; Premium primarily adds Manufacturing and Service Management on top of Essentials.

Business Central's Sustainability functionality supports areas such as tracking greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental information through its sustainability features.

One point that can cause confusion is Microsoft Sustainability Manager, which is a separate product under Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. It has its own licensing and shouldn't be confused with the Sustainability functionality built into Business Central.

So, for Business Central specifically, Sustainability Management isn't gated behind the Premium licence.
