Retaining app license in MSIX package

We are creating a MSIX application from a MSI installer that we are going to publish to Azure Virtual Desktop. At the first launch tasks we are adding the license information into the application to apply it to the package. 

When deploying the package to users the application will not hold the license that was applied during the packaging. Have anyone had similar challenges when packaging e.g licenses into the MSIX packages and found any solutions?
