Tracking participation - volunteering
Hi all,
I am relatively new to Teams and I have watched many of the free training videos online. My biggest question comes down to how to identify which apps I should add to help me do things more efficiently. I have moved our Volunteering Committee information into Teams, but I am wondering if I can find an app to help me track who has volunteered more efficiently. Currently, I have a spreadsheet of employees. Let's say there are 200 employees and our goal is to have 90% participation. I update the list to show what volunteer the member has signed up for so I know what we are tracking to hit and then I mark when they actual complete their volunteer opportunity so we know the actual percentage tracking to our goal. Is there a good app to track this in?
I also track things like how many shirts we have in each size. I'm not sure if this is something I should just keep in an excel spreadsheet and upload as a file or if there is a better app for this.

Microsoft
Hello tiffanygjestvang
First I'm going to share a doc about engaging generally with volunteers using Microsoft products and services: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits/engage-donors-volunteers
You might consider using Shifts: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/what-is-shifts-f8efe6e4-ddb3-4d23-b81b-bb812296b821#:~:text=Shifts%20in%20Microsoft%20Teams%20is%20a%20schedule%20management,top%20while%20team%20members%20appear%20on%20the%20left.
Finally, here's how to track user activity in Teams: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-analytics-and-reports/user-activity-report
Hope this helps.
