Seems there is an issue with current MS Teams version. According to Jabra support, MS would probably come with a new version, but they are not sure about the timeline.
... wondering if it makes sense to purchase MS Teams certified devices, if respective functionality is not included in testing cycles

I also don't think that's really a factor. I guess we just have to wait for Microsoft to release a Teams version where certified devices can work again. Is there a page with known issues? I'd like to understand if Microsoft is at least aware of this.

latest info, from MS is following:
The feature was disabled a while back due to livesite. The issue is fixed but the feature is still disabled. The feature will be enabled next month (i.e. Jan 2022).

- IcebugzFeb 04, 2022Copper ContributorIt works since a few weeks back on Teams Business, just still doesn't work on Teams for Home (On Windows 11). Exact same issue we saw on the Business version starting back in December where the light flashes twice and does nothing. The fix on business was a backend fix by Microsoft as they had intentionally disabled it for some reason.

I am using exact the same as you and this morning the teams-button is working on the speaker. I did nothing like update or so, just wait 🙂

I just got a reply from Poly:
"We have checked internally Teams button will not work. Because the authentication part initiated by the Teams on physical connection is not happening as it was disabled by Microsoft recently. Microsoft will bring a team’s update which is supposed to be coming by the last week of January. And after that they will fix this behavior. We also have a ticket logged with Microsoft to check the progress of this issue. For time being use the screen icons to manage calls."
So we just need to wait for the end of this month to have it fixed (hopefully).
