Microsoft Teams on my outlook

I have attempted and so have Microsoft to load an add-in to my system so i can link my outlook to my Microsoft Teams.

After hours, they advised no one at Microsoft can talk to me about this issue but I have to join a 'community' with over 100,000 other people to try and seek help.

My link was broken when Microsoft downloaded a new version of Office Home and Business 2019 to my system.

  • TimGran1964 Hello, well. Office Home or Office 2019 isn't the solution so I have no idea why this was installed "by Microsoft" as Teams isn't included?

Anyway, to have the Teams add-in available in the Outlook client it's necessary to install the Teams desktop application. Even installed correct, the add-in is sometimes blocked in the client and can be enabled either from File - Options - Add-ins or the registry.

But first of all, make sure you're using an eligible subscription for Teams. See this table for more info

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/teams-service-description

    And this as well

Hope this helps you get it sorted!
