Block Teams meeting chat notifications for meetings you don't attend
One of my end users scheduled an MS Teams meeting, but did not attend it. She kept getting notifications about chats occurring in the meeting. I told her how she could leave a meeting or mute it. Is ...
- May 03, 2019AFAIK, no! But you can connect to meeting and then go to the meeting chat in the chat tab , right click and inactivate notifications for it

adam deltinger thanks for this tip but I am not seeing where on the meeting chat I would be able to disable the chat notifications. It's driving me bonkers because I get the sound on both my laptop and cell!

I'll be sure to use this.
By the way, I'm using an older laptop this month, while on a special assignment. It is very old and originally came with Windows 7. It would take 10 minutes to boot into Windows 10, so I installed Linux. Nice to see Teams for Linux running so smooth.
