manual one drive configuration

Tldr: I can't find settings on win 10 to control one drive settings. I want it to act not as an integrated windows component because having it be a folder is really not working for me, both for managing files and far too many issues with account syncing and failing to access data. 

Is there a way to do this? or at least a menu i can force open that will allow me to configure one drive features from a sensible location?

The only other alternative i can see is creating a win 7 or XP VM and using that as a one drive goblin to keep things sorted properly.
