send from alias enabled for individual users instead of org wide

Hello,

There currently exists an org wide setting to enable users to send from their aliases. This allows any user to send from their aliases or .onmicrosoft.com domain.

I would like to request a feature to have this ability on the mailbox level instead of org wide. I only want to enable this feature for a small subset of users instead of org wide and currently cannot do this.

Currently, this feature can only be enabled at the tenant level. However, once you enable these tenant settings, you can control which users can have an alias address for their account. Additionally, you can create an Exchange Online transport rule to send emails using those alias addresses as needed.

Sreejith_r These are not solutions I am asking for.

You can control a users smtp addresses yes but I should be able to allow a user to receive from an alias but not send from that same alias if we choose so.

Transport layer is just not in the question here. That's not restricting users from viewing the alias and trying to send as it. Also now you have to dictate which of these rules apply to which users. Every user i onboard or offboard now i have to edit transport rules. It's not an option for me.

Looking a for a new feature enhancement, not a feature that doesn't exist but has shotty work arounds.
