Block Copy/Paste in MS Teams

Hello,

Despite finding this question asked frequently online, I haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

We are trying to completely disable the copy/paste function in the Microsoft Teams application when users are logged in from a Windows 10/11 PC. We've successfully implemented this restriction for users accessing Teams via a web browser on a PC, but the same solution doesn't seem to apply to the desktop application.

Could anyone provide guidance on whether this is possible and, if so, share any references or helpful links?

Thanks in advance!

      Thanks for responding

      Using E5 license

Even with DLP, like taking a screenshot and pasting in the chat works. Can you please provide more details on what you are referring to

drivesafely you can create an e-DLP policy, and choose location "Device", but it only blocks if users are sharing some specific content that matches the sensitive info type that you configured, can not block completely in MS Teams.

We too are looking for a solution when using the fully installed teams/outlook app to block copy/paste/print/download but having a hard time coming up with a solution. I wish MSFT would update the application protection polices and add M365 instead of just EDGE as an app to target.
