Microsoft Bookings is ignoring Staff Availability hours and adding availability. How do I fix this?
We have one service and one staff member for the bookings calendar. The availability for the service is set to only when a staff member is free and the service is booked for 3 hour increments. The availability of the staff member is a custom date as reflected in this image:
For some reason, the bookings page shows more availability than it should. See image below:
What is going on? This is happening on multiple days where there are "available times" outside the staff's availability.
- NitroGlycerinCopper ContributorWe are seeing this same issue. I have not found a fix yet.
- NitroGlycerinCopper ContributorWe just found a solution for ours. It appears the checkbox under Booking Page > Region and time zone settings > "Always show time slot in business time zone" is very buggy. We unchecked the box and everything is working fine now.
I found this post that led us to give it a try. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-bookings/microsoft-bookings-showing-wrong-times-with-quot-always-show/m-p/3689116- JohnT10654Copper Contributor
NitroGlycerin This appears to have eliminated some of the previous after-hours appointments but not all.
Here is the staff's current availability:
Here are the appointments "available" for people to schedule.
She shouldn't have a 3:30pm appointment available. Looks like it might be a one-day issue as I am not seeing issues with the rest of the month.
Also, if the service we provide is 3 hours long and we set the available of a 4-hour window, does that mean someone can schedule 2 appointments in that window, because we do not necessarily want that. For example, on Thursdays, I am seeing two possible appointments, one at the very beginning of the availability time (10) and another at the very end of availability (1:30pm). How do we get it so someone cannot schedule a 3-hour appointment at the end of someone's availability?
