Microsoft Bookings Error when adding new customer to event (Error: Sorry couldn't update the event)

Only started happening in past few weeks.

Microsoft Bookings Error when adding new customer to event (Error: Sorry couldn't update the event)

This happens when we edit an event and try add a new customer to the event.

Customers can book as normal and get added to the event but manually updating an event in the backend fails and we get this error.

 

To replicate.

In the bookings calendar, click an existing event and choose edit, now click the add new customer option and fill in the details and then press add button. When you go to save it gives the error below

 

Error: Sorry couldn't update the event. Please try again.

 

Any ideas folks?

    LeoKearns We ran into the same issue today. After toggling the 'try the new bookings' to on. We were able to manually update the booking.

      Matthew LaViola Thanks for that. I did same prior to your update and got in that way. Cheers for the reply.  Now if only they would allow payment gateways this would be a great product.

    This was a critical regression that got introduced in the old Bookings experience for few days last month. The regression was mitigated on 01/19. I hope you are able to create/update events in the old Bookings experience now.

      I'm getting this error for any time I try to update the booking - adding a staff member, adding a person to the appointment, trying to delete the appointment.  It won't let me do anything.  

       

      Also people can not book online anymore - it says there is a problem; and when I go to type in a customer's name, it doesn't automatically find them anymore from the customer list.  

       

      Any thoughts - I'm going nuts trying to figure out what changed.
