Is this possible?
Please pardon my ignorance.
We presently are getting started with Bookings, and are using it to schedule and keep track of specific tasks for our internal techs.
We are also looking at replacements for an old custom coded ticketing/scheduling Calander display which presents us with a daily calendar of the appointments for each of our techs.
I was looking into whether or not it is possible to setup a bookings calendar (this part I know is) that we could send a given appointment to via a new application (made in VB.net). I have seen similar system before where an email is sent with specifically formatted dated and it creates a new entry in the destination system (I want to say it was Tello that supported this).
It appeared possible, but I really could not make much sense out of the information I found on the API or interface instructions. We do run hosted email on an O365/Azure setup.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this.

MWX-Theta I am not sure if I understood the question correctly. If your ask is about triggering a custom notifications when a Bookings appointment is created, you could do that using Bookings Power Automate connectors, can you please check if this helps?
- MWX-ThetaCopper ContributorNo, what I am looking for a way to do is have a independant program be able to send a new bookings entry to teh bookings system. I am in no way interested in getting data out of the Bookings system, I'm interested in putting new data into it.
As mentioned we are looking to use Bookings as a replacement for our aging and un-maintainable current one, which displays all appointments for all technicians for a given day.
We know we can get multiple techs to display on a bookings calendar (we are using Bookings to better track a large multi-customer, multi tech migration project currently) but right now, the only way to get anything on that calendar to use the front facing bookings system, or have admin access to the backend.
