Can Bookings show Outlook Calendar Event details for Staff? (not just "Busy")
jmonda This isn't the problem sorry. It doesn't matter if set as an Admin or Staff in Bookings. Any "Bookings" from within the Bookings App (eg. Services) show up on the calendars fine (See coloured appointments below). It is the staff member's personal calendar bookings that only seem to show as Busy in Bookings regardless of what their calendar permissions are set as. If we view the Bookings calendar in Virtual Appointments App then the calendars show the titles and descriptions (as set by each staff member) but they don't in Bookings? Is there a known setting to change this or is it just the design of Bookings that is not permitting this?

Hope someone can help or advise thanks.
JeffAllen15 Hi we are having the same issue and cannot find an answer anywhere nor can we get any help from Microsoft so far. Did you find a solution?

LozzyLeopard5702 We couldn't find anything sadly. Bookings shows "Busy" no matter what and Virtual Appts show detail IF permitted to view by the calendar owner. Bookings has proved really bad for us and struggles with conflicts between staff calendars and the bookings calendars, doesn't allow recurring bookings and doesn't perform robustly enough to trust sadly. Bookings seems to create a "SchedulingMailbox" with no license and no ability to change permissions to allow view changes in either Exchange/Outlook or Powershell so it's too locked down for our use and too prone to breaking that we've cancelled using it and are looking elsewhere for a new booking tool. Good luck!

LozzyLeopard5702 Bookings has been a nightmare for me. I am kind of the only one in our office that is somewhat tech savvy. I have wasted so much time trying to get this to work correctly it is still a nightmare. Just trying to get booking to read my own calendar and show me as busy so people do not schedule appointments during those times has been difficult. My solution has been a messy one but I ended up creating a single calendar for just my work bookings and then I end up duplicating all of my work bookings to that calendar so it shows me as busy. This way someone does not look at my calendar and see me as available. Honestly booking is not the solution I would use however I am kind of stuck because our company is not going to spend money on a booking system so I have been looking for solutions that are free on my own.
