Calendar Not Reflecting Patient Appointments

I receive email notifications of a service booked using the bookings page, but when I login to the calendar page, these do not show up as an entry. When I look in the services page, I also do not see the appointments that patients are booking. These same patients are telling me they are booking the service and received email confirmation. 

Any thoughts into what the issue may be?
