error occurred with Powerpoint recording
Hello Community, I have been trying to record a PPT presentation and the moment I stop the recording, this message pops up - "An error occurred with recording. Please try again." I have tried...
found the solution: I tried different audio sources and noticed that those that worked had different frequency/resolution than the ones that weren't working; PowerPoint doesn't like different audio devices (playback/record) using different sampling frequencies/bits. I fixed the problem by aligning the recording frequency in the input device to match sampling frequency/resolution (example: stereo 44.1KHz 16bit) with the output device.
