Is it possible to open Office documents in SP2010 onprem with E1 Office online?

I'm trying to understand the impact of upgrading from old version of Office to the E1 license.

Will my users, using Office Web apps, be able to open Office files stored in document libraries within our onprem Sharepoint 2010 environment?

I don't see an option with Excel Online to open files from Sharepoint.
