Change the Initials shown in the group header?

Question

When I created our first O365 group, I named it "IT Dept". &nbsp;Now when looking at the new sharepoint team site, it shows the initials "ID" in the colored square in the header, next to the group name. &nbsp;I tried changing the group name to "Information Technology", but the initials are still showing ID. &nbsp;Is it possible to change those?

No, it's not. What I recommend you is to use a logo for the site

That's disappointing. &nbsp;The logo does seem to hide the issue on the sharepoint site, but in other areas the initials are still displayed instead. &nbsp;

Did you try to solve it chaning the Group logo so it's propagated to all the other places (SharePoint &amp; Planner)?

I did assign a group logo, and it does show up in sharepoint, but in the Groups and Teams mobile apps, it still shows the initials instead of the logo. I believe I saw the same thing somewhere when working in the group on the web as well, though I can't recall exactly which app/screen I was in at the time.

Mmm...that's different issue...it could be a bug / issue in the Apps. In my case, the Android App shows the logo correctly for both Groups and Team Sites
