Mixing office apps and Exchange between users - Office 365 Business Premium
Hi
In Office 365 Business Premium can we choose which users use either office or exchange, or both? Does that effect cost per user?
Thanks

- Rob EllisBronze ContributorOffice 365 Business Premium includes a number of different services and workloads - e.g. Exchange, SharePoint, Skype for Business, etc.
You can turn these services on / off for specific users - e.g. User1 has everything, User 2 has everything expect Skype for Business - but that does not change the cost.
If you have specific users that only need 1 service - e.g. Exchange, then you could purchase Exchange Online licenses for them, instead of Business Premium - but you often find that the Business Premium 'bundle' works out cheapest if users need 2 or more specific services.- Yahya --Copper Contributor
Rob Thanks.
Would the two bundles run under the same company domain? As both sets of users would need emails from same domain.
Thanks

Yes you can mix and match office subscriptions within the same organization (Tenant).
For example you may want some to use to just have the latest version of Office but not have access to Exchange online - So the cheapest option would be to just buy Office 365 Business.
For users who just require the online services but don't need the latest Office products (perhaps you already have Office 2013) you could buy Office 365 Business Essentials and for those users who require everything, you would buy Office 365 Business Premium.
This is cheaper than buying everyone Business Premium and then de-activating services.
Check out which subscriptions you requires here:

Hope this helps
