Don’t Feed The Script Kiddies – Enable MFA Now!
At the TEC 2022 conference, Alex Weinert, Microsoft VP for Identity, outlined the need to deploy Azure AD MFA to protect accounts in Microsoft 365 tenants. Yesterday I noted that the number for Azure AD admin accounts with MFA was 26.64%. Turns out that was a typo on Alex's slide and that's the overall percentage for MFA-enabled Azure AD user accounts. The number for MFA-enabled admin accounts is 34.15%, which is better, but it's still horrible to find that nearly two-thirds of admin accounts for #Microsof365 domains are susceptible to attack.
