D365 F&O

I am no longer able to save attachments/invoices in D365 F&O and I can no longer see attachments previously saved.  The "New" but is greyed out and the phrase "Attachments for Unlinked" is now appearing.  How do I correct this so I can start saving attachments again as well as look at attachments already saved?
