Two Groups, One Excel Spreadsheet.
Hello All,
I am struggling a bit trying to convey what I am trying to do but here goes.
I have 1 excel file that multiple groups access. The trick is, some people only want certain information viewable and others do not. So, say group Red wants rows A-F viewable, but Blue group does not, they only want to view rows H, I, and J.
Both groups need access to the same data, but are slightly lazy and only want to look at certain sections. What would be a good course of action here? I am fairly new to excel so I am sorry if this is a pedantic request, but any help or info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Matt-
You should check out custom views. I believe this will help with your dilemma. I have attached an example file for your reference. You can set custom views that allow you to save filtering and hidden/visible row and column settings.
In order to access this feature go to View > Custom Views
If you want to create a new view simply. Filter/Hide the appropriate rows/columns and then
Go To View > Custom Views > Add
