Merge text with "&" results in strikethrough
As of today I noticed the Excel Function: ="text "&A2, where A2="Nr" returns in a strikethrough text.
In the Tab Font the strikethrough button isn't checked. What's wrong?
Solution found! Something to do with cache memory, temporarily files etc.
Always close Excel and reboot the system, if you system acts funny.
Thanks all for your input!You probably set the sheet to manual calculation mode with 'stale value formatting' enabled. That results in the strike-through effect as soon as you enter something in the sheet.
Formula can't return formatted text like color, bold, italic, strikethrough. So the resultant cell is formatted from cell format option. So, clear all formats from the resultant cell.
