Excel
I export a file into Excel, it's saved as an .xlsx file. Then I email it to someone and when they open it, all the numbers that were there have changed to all $0.00's. How come and what can I do to fix this?
- What values are there when you view the file?
It's a standard P & L with numbers (dollar amounts) in every category.
- Without the file this is almost impossible to answer I'm afraid. Does the 'someone' in question have access to possible other resources the file requires, like add-ins, external links, external data connections? Does the user have its Excel set to automatic calculation?
