Enable DTPicker Calendar in Excel/VBA

I am unable to enable the DTPicker calendar in Excel/VBA. I have already contacted Microsoft, and they told me that this control is already native to the version, but this control is not appearing for me. I have even downloaded MSCOMCT2.OCX, but it still does not appear. Please, someone help me to enable this control in my Excel/VBA.
Here is the guideline How to insert calendar in Excel (Date Picker & printable calendar template) , but control works only on 32-bit version.
In this case, if I want to use this control, do I have to downgrade to the compatible version? If I do this, will the system I am creating suffer changes when it is put to work on a 64-bit computer?
Sorry, I didn't use it on practice for a long while, thus not sure. My understanding 32-bit version of Office on any computer shall work.
