Cell Formula
Hello all,
Trying to write some formula with "=CELL". I tried everything but =CELL("filename") doesn't work. "=CELL("address")" and any other info types works well only "filename" doesn't work.
Can you please suggest something.
- this is odd. have you tried a new workbook, save the file, and only typing =CELL("filename")
make sure there aren't any macros running.
I would even consider trying it in a different windows login/account
interesting to be sure
Has your workbook been saved to disk? If it is a new workbook that hasn't been saved yet, CELL("filename") will return an empty string.
- It is saved in a folder. I changed the location as well but it didn't work. Always getting #Value!
Which platform are you using? The desktop version for Windows or for Mac? Or the online (browser) version?
