Edge Dev 139.0.3365.2 does not open / crashes
When clicking the Edge Dev Icon, a full screen window in light blue colour opens, with no text or any graphics (no title bar, no symbols..), after a few seconds, this window crashes. It is not possible to start Edge dev. I tried to repair it within "installed apps" in Win Settings, but with the same result. Restarting the Computer did not solve the problem.
Starting an inprivate window does work (right click on icon - in private), but if I want to check the settings, Edge crashes immediately.
update: I renamed the DEFAULT folder in the LOCAL APP DATA USER DATA folder and restartet Edge Dev. It startet as a clean and naked browser and worked just fine - but without all my data, favorites, collections.. It made a new DEFAULT folder inside USER DATA. When deleting this new DEFAULT and renaming the original DEFAULT, the problem was back again. Edge did not start and crashed with this naked window. So the problem is somewhere inside my DEFAULT folder.
The goal will be to bring Edge Dev back to life without loosing all my personalisation and data. because this is a lot of stuff :)

ok, like lexcyn said, it seems to be a local issue. In my DEFAULT folder, I tried to mess with extension and other objects. When I renamed my SESSIONS folder, Edge Dev startet as it should. Apps and settings are the same, my bookmarks are here.. only the tab groups and open tabs are KIA. Seems, one of the tabs created the problem.
I think, this is fine, with a bit of work I can collect all the sites again. more or less ;)
Thanks for reading and the help!

Have you tried deleting your profile cache in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge Dev\User Data (<-- delete the user data folder to clear your profile)
I am using the same Edge version and can launch so it appears to be an issue on your local system - maybe an extension? Start up page?
