Dev channel update to 86.0.622.3 is live
Vlad_Koon it's mixed. Somebody brought up the point that the current implementation is actually simpler and therefore less prone to bugs, and since it was something we inherited from Chromium, we will most likely continue to do whatever they decide since diverging our behavior also adds more complexity and room for errors.

But this behavior is contrary to the behavior of Windows context menus and other software (Firefox for example)! In Chrome under macOS, there are no such problems either. This behavior is very annoying! Maybe you should try to push a fix for this behavior to Chromium?

Vlad_Koon actually, I think that's a really great point that this only happens on Windows. We'll see if that changes any minds!

I don't see anything wonderful in this behavior! This behavior with context menus is not present on macOS, Linux, or even Windows! I first met such idiotic behavior only in Chrome / Chromium. And it's very sad that you cannot do anything about it, because from now on you are completely dependent on Google =(
