Cast button in toolbar doesn't work anymore
I'm on a Windows 10 tablet and since a few weeks in all my 3 installations (Stable, Dev 141.0.3500.1 , Canary 141.0.3518.0) the cast button in the toolbar doesn't work anymore. Only option I have now to initiate casting is with: Menu-Button => More Tools => Cast Media, which is quite annoying.
Could someone from the developer team please take a look into that?

I am havin gexactly the same issue for 8 weeks now, even after installing all latest updates.
I also created a new Profile, pinned Cast to the Toolbar again, and immediately it
both did not work (clicking it does nothing)
and it won't unpin (unpinning moves it from left of a divider to right of a divider)
I'm still having this issue in November...anyone know what's going on?
Any resolution for this yet?

Same here - pinned button doesn't work and I can't remove it.
have to go deep into the menu to cast, and that still works.

Yup. Same error.
Worse, I had left the button pinned to the bar, and now it won't go away anymore. I tried everything and it remains unresponsive.
Same here, doesn't work anymore since a week on Edge, Windows 11.
There is however a workaround:
three dots right top screen > More tools > Cast media on device (it's Dutch on my side, so could be slightly different).
This opens the familiair menu to cast to TV, or whatever.Me too! How do I know when this gets answered. I cast for teaching / school
