Ideas on how to enable adoption - ‘Enablement Engine’
Have you seen a shirtless dancing guy or how they have enabled first followers and then a crowd to come together? 🤔😂 Well let me explain how this links to Driving Adoption! 😁
Hey all! Over the last 5 years or so I’ve been in the Power Platform world and it’s TRANSFORMED my life and career! I stumbled across it by chance and started experimenting with it and encouraging others to use it, supported them in removing roadblocks, helped them learn and solve business problems, and yelled as loud as I could about their success to whoever would listen in the organisation I was in at the time! 🤩😂 Through that approach I grew an internal community of 4,500 ‘Power Rangers’ across 70+ countries, with thousands of makers, apps and flows!
I’ve been pretty much doing this ever since moving on from that organisation and into the Microsoft Partner world - I’ve formalised, industrialised, and evolved the approach and am continuing to do so. And although it was originally focused around Power Platform I’m now starting to test this ‘Enablement Engine’ in the Copilot world too as the approach is less about the technology and more about people and behaviours!
I’ve been blogging about this and explaining my approach for a while now and would LOVE to hear any feedback or ideas on this iterative approach combining marketing, inspiration, education, support, and celebration, and if it resonates with anyone or if they’ve tried something similar?
My latest post gives an example of how this approach would be used to promote prompting to drive adoption, but the rest of the posts break down the approach and explain it in more detail. Lots more to go into so it’s a work in progress 😊 Here’s a link to my Blog - https://www.empoweryour.world/
And the dancing guy reference…. Well THIS 2-3 min video shows the movement we can create when this approach is successful! 😂

Simon_Owen Love the shirtless dancing guy video. I have used that a lot in leadership discussions. Thanks for sharing your insights.
- AndyHollUKBrass ContributorHi Simon, looks really interesting and more importantly useful - could I get a link to any blogs or resources where I can read more about practical application please?
- Simon_OwenCopper ContributorHey Andy! Absolutely - I’ve just realised that I didn’t actually put a link to my blog with more information! 🙄😂
Here’s the link I meant to share with my post!
