Purchasing model for "Academies in Viva Learning" & "Viva Learning web endpoint"
Will Academies in Viva Learning & Viva Learning web endpoint be part of:
- an existing 365 seeded licence?
- the Viva Learning Licence or the Viva Suite Licence (i.e. premium features)?
- another plan?
- Academies will be part of the Viva Learning or Viva Suite License. The web endpoint will be included in existing M365 seeded license.

I work as a Digital Skills Manager in a UK university and functionality such as Viva Learning, Engage, Connections are wonderful tools to help me in my role as well as empowering staff and students. HOWEVER, making functionality premium i.e. part of the Viva Learning or Viva Suite License only puts it financially out of reach for Higher Education, never mind secondary or Primary education in the UK.What chance is there that Microsoft will re-consider the pricing of Viva functionality (or what is included in M365 seeded licences A1/A3/A5) for Education?
Talk to your license supplier, depending on the size of the university, number of licenses and the negotiation pricing might be lower. You can also just buy the learning license seperate
