How to get a PDM assigned to our company?

Hi,
We are a business advising company, and we are trying to get a PDM assigned to our company. Can someone please help us with the process to get a PDM assigned?

Thank you!

    Hi JillArmour

Ref the above query, is there a criteria guide as to when can a partner get a PDM assigned. Any assistance on this will be appreciated.

    Thanks

There is no guide.  Microsoft will reach out if you have been assigned a PDM.

If in need of other assistance, consider Premier Support for Partners. You will be assigned a Customer Success Account Manager but their roles and responsibilities are different from a PDM.  They focus on technical enablement, escalation support, and extending advisory services to the Partner, among other things.

If interested in a discussion on PSfP, you may direct message me or complete the form on aka.ms/psfp

      Thanks,
      Asher

  • Microsoft will reach out to partners to assign a PDM once they reach a certain revenue and other metrics threshold. PDMs are only assigned to Managed partners.

If a partner is managed, Microsoft will initiate contact and set objectives and partnership goals for the fiscal year, which begins in July.

For unmanaged partners, several online resources are available, such as information repositories, document collections, and community calls. If you are not aware of these, start with the Microsoft Partner website (Especially the partnership menu) and Microsoft Partner Announcements.

If you are a Direct Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) seeking technical advisory to support your business growth in the cloud, you might consider Microsoft's partner support plans, such as Advanced Support for Partners. FYI  these support plans primarily assist with technical enablement rather than programmatic aspects like the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program or Licensing programs.

Great response, thank you for sharing!

I have pinned this post to the top of this board, as I find a lot of partners asking about it. Hopefully others find this helpful as well.
