Send an Email When a Pipeline Fails

Good morning.

I'm looking to send an email to myself when one of my pipelines fails.  I've looked it up on the Internet and the hits I get indicate I have to build my own Activity in order to do that.  The links are pretty old.

I just want to make sure I'm not missing something, as this seems like about as fundamental a requirement as a Synapse pipeline could need, and I know that the tool is still changing and getting better all the time.  When I type "email" and "message" into the Search Activities box I get nothing.  My old tool has had an email option for the last 20 years.

So here's the question -- do I still need to create my own version of an email Activity, or is there something in the core set that I should use instead?
