Azure Network tomcat inside Azure VM

Hello All,

I have IIS hosted inside Azure VM and can access it over a public network with public IP address

There is a tomcat install inside VM and hosted a simple html , which be be accessible inside the VM, however it not accessible over the public network.

Below is the site which can be accessible inside the VM

If I try to access it over the public network it is not accessible http://20.51.215.249:8080/hello.html

To investigate it further , I have install the IIS Manager and open the ports in network security group, The IIS site is accessible both inside the VM and over the public network,

Kindly advice , Why the html page hosted on tomcat is not accessible over the public network, as there is no issue with the IIS site.

The inbound Rules

Thanks,

Anirban

    Hi
Regarding the Network security group the name of the rule is Port_8080 but the rule itself only authorize port 80 di you try to open the port 8080 ?
