Work Item issue

I created a work item that has a required multi-select field. When I pull up the work item in Edge, I can see that the field is a required muti-select field.  However, when the user opens the work item, the field is not required.  We are both using the Edge browser.  Has anyone had this problem?

    1. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, cached data can cause inconsistencies. Ask the user to clear their browser cache and cookies.
      • Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear.
    2. Check Browser Policies: If the user is on a company-managed device, there might be policies affecting the browser's behavior.
      • Type edge://policy/ in the address bar to check if any policies are applied.
    3. Browser Extensions: Ensure that no browser extensions are interfering with the work item display. Try disabling extensions temporarily to see if the issue persists.
    4. Browser Version: Verify that both you and the user are using the same version of Edge. Sometimes, different versions can behave differently.
      • Go to Settings > About Microsoft Edge to check for updates.
    5. Work Item Configuration: Double-check the configuration of the work item in your system. Ensure that the required field settings are correctly applied and saved.
    6. Different Browsers: As a temporary workaround, try accessing the work item in a different browser to see if the issue is specific to Edge.
