How to include the date of birth field in THE CONTACTS DATABASE MODEL IN ACCESS. I need to have the birthdays of the month and the day.

It would help to see the table you want to modify, but in general, adding new fields is quite straightforward.
Open the table in design view:
Then, save and close the table.
If this is a split database, you should relink the table in the Front End to be sure it sees the new field, although Access normally does that automatically anyway.
