Viva Amplify Licensing
Do all users require a Viva Amplify license in order to receive and consume information processed through Amplify by (licensed) corporate comms users? Hello everyone, with recent demos of Viva Amplify, I have run into two issues: Campaign Visibility Users can only see campaigns they themselves have created in their dashboard, no matter their role. So Campaign 1, created by User A, will have User B as editor or approver. User B, however, sees only their own campaign, Campaign 2, in their Dashboard, but not Campaign 1. Using the campaign's URL, User B can view and edit Campaign 1 without issues. Direct navigation to the campaign's page from the dashboard, however, is not possible. The issue is the same regardless the role and whether a user is an initial part of the campaign or added later. Both users are part of the M365 group and can navigate to the sites e.g. via the associated team sites. Approvals Approvals seem to generally be causing errors at the moment. If an approver does receive an approval, the approval does not contain an option to view details / jump to the element that the approver needs to review. Below is a full view of the approval request details - I am almost certain there was a link leading to Amplify page included in the approval request not two months ago. Hello, Has anyone come across an issue with the Outlook distribution where you can not change the “From” account? As of today, it won’t let me change that. When I click “Other email address…” nothing happens. I have created a new communication, logged out, restarted my laptop, tried a different browser and it has not resolved. When someone else tries to edit, it says I am still editing even though my laptop wasn’t even on. Hi everyone! I created a template in a campaign - a template that I could use for other campaigns too. Unfortunately, I realized that the template is only available in the very campaign in which I created it. Is there a possibility to make that template available to all publications across every campaigns? Hello, I am getting the following error message when trying to publish via Viva Amplify for Outlook. 'We have encountered an unexpected issue while publishing to one or more distribution channels. Select Retry to publish again' The emails are all internal to our company and I have tried to individual and shared email addresses and get the same error, even when click Retry several times. Hi there. We are testing the Viva C&C licensing in our org on a trial license for a month and it seems that we are not able to add any users to our Amplify campaigns unless they have SharePoint admin permissions. We would like to have some users be able to contribute to a campaign but not create it and we would like those users to not have SharePoint admin rights. is there possibly some trick to setting up users for Amplify that we are missing? We have followed the Learn article but nothing seems to be working. All users have a C&C license assigned to them. When it comes to posting publications meant for one or more SharePoint sites, how does Amplify account for any required meta-data fields for those site libraries? For instance, you may have SharePoint site with deployed content-types that require columns like 'Region' or 'Type' to be populated. We were previously publishing Amplify to a SharePoint subsite but it looks like Microsoft has recently taken this away. This subsite has existed for quite some time and has a ton of content. So, the idea of migrating to a new hubsite and the impact that could have on links, pictures, etc. makes me nervous. Has anyone else run into this or have a workaround for publishing to a subsite?
