Opening and Viewing Option for Two MS Project Files Simultaneously on Two Screens?
Hi Can two MS Project files be opened on two different screens at the same time? This option is should be there as it is for other usual MS software like Word, Excel etc. Hope this can be fixed as will ease out while working from two parallel files simultaneously. Appreciate if this can be looked at, please asap. Looking forwardSolvedMZ_RasheedNov 15, 2021Brass Contributor159KViews1like41CommentsCollaboration in MS Project
I work for a small but growing manufacturing company that uses MS Project Professional to manage a few hundred "micro-projects" that all compete for resources, etc., at any one time. All the micro-projects are managed in one project file. As the company grows and matures, we are seeing a need to have 3-4 people actively working in the Project file at any one time, as well as an additional 5-6 internal customers that need read-only access to the project data. Is there a collaboration option in MS Project Professional? I don't think so, but would be very happy to be corrected. If not, what are the recommended MS Project versions to allow this level of collaboration? Are the third-party add-ons that can solve this problem? If so, which are recommended? Hi everyone! Since uservoice cannot be used anymore, I hope this post will be read by a MSFT product group and take the suggestion in consideration 🙂 MS To-do (and/or Tasks by Planner) slowly but surely becomes the central place for tasks around the product line, but one missing piece of the puzzle which I am sure everyone would love is the ability to see the tasks from Project for the web assigned to me in To-do / Tasks by Planner. It is great already that Planner tasks are in to-do (for small/agile projects), but when it comes to complex/waterfall this feature is missing. Does anyone know if this is planned somehow? I could not find anything in MS roadmap... Thank you.SolvedNicoNov 10, 2021Brass Contributor39KViews27likes42CommentsNeed help on how to Install PROJECT-PLAN 3

Every time I open this project I get this message. have tried everything google suggested, but it isn't a common issue with project, but it is on excel. Additionally, the project is about twice the size of my other projects. It isnt connected to any other projects nor are there any external successors. Thanks in advance.Solvedjamesbl390Nov 09, 2021Copper Contributor31KViews0likes16CommentsMicrosoft Project Online REST API
Hello community, I need to retrieve projects and their details and create projects and tasks from https://project.microsoft.com/ (Project Online) using a REST API. I searched everywhere online and couldn't find any documentation or SDK to do it. Is there any documentation for a REST API to interact with https://project.microsoft.com/?IDEI-MiguelMartinezAug 25, 2023Copper Contributor29KViews0likes5CommentsMS Project Online - Providing Viewer Access for those without a License
Hello. My team has MS Project for the Web - Plan 3. We are a PMO. Our PMO Team have licenses, but most of our stakeholders do not. We do want to give them access to our online project plans. We have gone through the "User Group" settings and made our stakeholders members of groups like "Project XYZ Visitors," "Project XYZ Members," etc. But... when we provide a link to project plans, our stakeholders get error messages that say they cannot access or view (see below). These Users are not external. They all are internal to our org and have Office 365. Simply making them members of "User Groups" within the PWA isn't enough. Any ideas are appreciated. We don't want to have to give everyone a MS Project license if they don't need one.Berto2033Apr 26, 2023Copper Contributor28KViews0likes10Comments
