Has anyone migrated from one Google Workspace to another after a company merger?
Hi all, Our company recently went through a merger and we now have two separate Google Workspace accounts that need to be consolidated into one. I need to move everything across, emails, contacts, calendars and tasks, for all users without anything getting lost in the process. Honestly not sure where to begin. Google's native tools seem limited for something like this and I don't want to start without a solid plan. Has anyone gone through a similar consolidation? How did you handle it and is there anything you wish you had known before starting?Which SharePoint Communication Site layout has worked best in your organization?

Office.js: Is there any supported way to retrieve multiple non-contiguous text selections in Word?
Hi everyone, I'm developing a Word Office Add-in using Office.js. In Microsoft Word (Windows Desktop), users can select multiple non-contiguous text ranges by holding Ctrl while selecting text. However, when I use: context.document.getSelection() It only returns a single Word.Range, and I couldn't find any API to detect or retrieve all the selected ranges. I came across this related discussion: Microsoft Tech Community – Support for Retrieving Multiple Selected Ranges in Word via Office.js My questions are: 1. As of 2026, is there any supported Office.js API to retrieve multiple non-contiguous text selections? 2. Is there any workaround to detect that the user has selected multiple ranges? 3. Or is this still a platform limitation? Our use case is an AI-powered legal research add-in, where users may want to select multiple clauses from different parts of a document and send them together as context. Dear colleagues I have a long table of 5 columns and maybe 200 rows. The task is to wrap the table after a specified number of rows to see the table in landscape on a new sheet. I was thinking about WRAPCOLS, but it works only for vector (one column). Is there a way to wrap whole table using M365 functions? If not, the next option can be Power Query. See example attached. Office Home & Business 2019 license no longer recognized after reinstall ("No license found")
Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help because Microsoft Support has not been able to solve this issue. I own a genuine perpetual license of Office Home & Business 2019 for Mac, linked to my Microsoft account since August 2019. The license is still listed under Services & Subscriptions, but Office no longer activates. My hardware MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012) Model: MacBookPro10,2 Intel Core i5 8 GB RAM macOS Ventura 13.7.8 Installed using OpenCore Legacy Patcher Office version originally working: 16.78 Later tested with 16.101 and 16.93 Same result on every version What happened Office had already been successfully activated and worked normally. I was able to: create documents edit documents save documents After restarting the Mac, Office suddenly requested activation again. Since then it has never activated successfully. Initially Office failed to activate with an unknown error. After completely uninstalling and reinstalling Office using Microsoft's installer, the activation process changed. I can now successfully sign in with my Microsoft account, but after authentication Office displays: "No license found for this account." My Office Home & Business 2019 license is still present in my Microsoft account under Services & Subscriptions. Even though my Microsoft account clearly owns Office Home & Business 2019 for Mac. Microsoft account The license appears correctly under: Services & Subscriptions Office Home & Business 2019 for Mac Added to my account on August 7, 2019. The website instructs me to open an Office application and sign in to activate. Everything I've already tried Uninstalled Office completely Installed Office again using Microsoft's installer Installed Office 16.78 Installed Office 16.93 Updated to Office 16.101 Removed Office containers Removed Group Containers Deleted OneAuth cache Deleted Entrabroker cache Removed activation tokens Cleared Office preferences Signed out and signed back into Microsoft account Deleted Office credentials from Keychain Reinstalled Microsoft AutoUpdate Verified no MDM profile exists Verified Internet Accounts Verified Microsoft account Microsoft Support remotely accessed my Mac and repeated all troubleshooting steps Nothing solved the issue. Additional information Running: defaults read com.microsoft.office returns: OfficeActivationLicense = NoLicense although: OfficeActivationEmailAddress = email address removed for privacy reasons is correctly detected. The activation window successfully reaches Microsoft's login page. Office now asks for my Microsoft account credentials. Authentication completes successfully. After a few seconds Office reports: "No license found for this account." It then offers only two options: Buy Microsoft 365 Use another account Microsoft Support remotely connected to my Mac, completely removed Office, installed a newer official installer, and the problem remained exactly the same. My question Has anyone experienced this after reinstalling Office 2019? Could this be: a licensing server issue? an incompatibility introduced after Office 2019 reached end of support? an activation problem related to OpenCore Legacy Patcher? something else? I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much. Additional notes: The Office license has been associated with the same Microsoft account since 2019. Microsoft Support has already remotely accessed my computer and could not resolve the problem.Outlook Classic - Crashes When Drafting with Copilot in RDS environment
Hi all, I'm interested to see whether anyone else is experiencing this issue, particularly in an RDS environment. We have a number of users who have paid-for Microsoft 365 Copilot licences, including the integration within Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. In Outlook Classic running on our Windows Server 2019 RDS environment, Copilot no longer works correctly. When a user presses Alt + I to Draft with Copilot, or clicks the Copilot pencil icon within the body of an email, and then enters a prompt, Copilot displays "Writing your email" and the blue progress bar starts moving from left to right. At that point it freezes, Outlook crashes, and closes. In some cases Outlook will automatically reopen after the crash. The Copilot integration appears to work fine in Excel and Word. Is anyone else running Outlook Classic in a Windows Server 2019 RDS environment with Microsoft 365 Copilot licences? I would be interested to know if you have experienced the same issue. Subject: Need help reaching support for a compromised account where the email was changed
Greetings! My gamertag is sakhigaming2. My account was compromised a few months ago, and the hacker changed my login email completely. Because of this, the standard recovery system says my gamertag does not exist. I am currently locked out of my home Xbox console. I have my physical console Serial Numbers and hardware data for both of my household Xboxes to prove I am the original owner.Since the automated recovery forms do not recognize my old email anymore, I need a way to contact a live support agent who can escalate this to the account investigation team to track down my profile's backend ID. Stock symbol SKHY is missing in Excel's Stock data type
I have been frustrated trying to report a stock ticker symbol that is missing from Excel's Stock data type. SKHY is the ticker symbol for SK HYNIX INC ADR on NASDAQ. Excel responds with the following error when attempting to convert this symbol to a Stock data type: Data Type: Stocks No results found for "SKHY". How do I report this issue so that it can be fixed?
Trapped in an Authenticator Loop
Dear Community, please help! I am trapped in an Authenticator Loop. I've got a microsoft workplace account, but if I want to log in, I have to type in a code from the microsoft authenticator app. I downloaded the app, but in order to use it, I have to log into my account and in order to do so, I also have to type in a code from the authenticator app, which I don't get, because to get the code I would have to log into the authenticator app, what I would need a code for... No matter which link I click, I can't open anything before I enter the code, which I can't get. I am using teams on mac, either on a firefox browser or on the desktop app and the authenticator on an Iphone. Please don't just tell me "don't use teams on a mac", this wasn't my choice. Unfortunately, my emplyer's IT support also is chronically unavailable. So is here anyone who could help me? I've already gone through the usual deleting the app, using another browser etc. options. Word Document Using Columns Not Modified, But Suddenly Displays Differently
I am using MS Word on my Windows 11 desktop. I have been using a Word document that I created a couple of years ago. The document uses Columns. The last time I modified it was a year ago. I tend to print it out every two days. Suddenly, the document displays differently and prints those differences. It now displays vertical lines below four of the five squares. I moved the document to my Windows 11 laptop. Same problem there. I sent the Word document to my son who opened it on his Mac computer. On his computer, it displays exactly as it should -- No erroneous vertical lines. Again, I have not modified the document. I thought maybe a Windows update may have caused the problem, but I don't see any Windows update in about one month. I am displaying two images below, a "before" and "after" image. The "before" (i.e., correct) image shows five squares and the alphabet displaying vertically. The "after" image shows vertical lines below the first four squares. Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Repeating myself again -- I have not modified this file in a year. Thank you. I've been digging through the Agent 365 documentation trying to understand the enforcement model for autonomous agents — specifically ones running under app-only/service-principal auth rather than a signed-in user session. For Copilot Studio and Foundry agents built on Purview today, my understanding is that policy enforcement is tied to a human user token, and drops to audit-only when there's no delegated session behind the call. Does Agent 365's registry and governance layer change that specifically for the app-only case, or is it still primarily oriented around agents acting on behalf of a signed-in user? Trying to understand whether this is a gap that's being actively closed or whether it's still open for headless/autonomous agent scenarios. Any docs, product team clarification, or real-world experience welcome.
Heading Style Misapplied to Body Text
Hi, I'm editing a novel manuscript. Somehow. the author applied the same heading used for the chapter numbering to the last line of text of Chapter 28, so that that short line and the Chapter 29 heading are ... linked? If I try to set the heading for the line of text to normal in the Style pane, the chapter 29 heading goes to "normal," too. If I try to apply the heading style to the chapter heading, the line of text gets that style, too. Chapter 29 has of course disappeared from the Navigation Pane in all this. Hi there and happy new year to all. Starting from mid-december, we are facing an issue with our company Microsoft Bookings: basically the custom fields (like address, notes and so on). The book page will just ask for Name & Surname, E-mail Address and Phone Number. On our Administration back-end, the Customer Notes fileds is greyed out (you cannot enable it), and all the custom fields disappeared, you have just the standard ones. We have this issue in all our different booking pages, and all the services are affected. Any hint about this? Thanks!
