Excel jumps to A1 when selecting a range on another sheet during VLOOKUP
Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a strange issue in Excel and I’m hoping someone can help. Steps to reproduce the problem: Open a workbook with at least two sheets (Sheet1 and Sheet2). On Sheet1, start typing a VLOOKUP formula When selecting the table array range, switch to Sheet2 to select the range. Excel unexpectedly jumps the selection or view to cell A1 on Sheet2, losing the intended range selection.7Views0likes0CommentsQuery failure in Windows 11
Hi I just had a new computer at work, and changed from windows 10 to windows 11. I have a query, which compare 2 tables, and add rows in table2 that dont exits in table1. This has been working for years, but now it, only sometimes, double all the rows. INSERT INTO MPS Columns from Table2 (Access linked to sharepoint) SELECT MPS2. Columns from table1 FROM MPS2 WHERE not exists (Select 1 from MPS WHERE MPS.[MPSid] = MPS2.[MPSid]); It compares a unik field MPSid It doubles the rows sometimes, and the MPSid is the same, in the doubled rows Has something changed, or is there a workaround? I have quite a complex spreadsheet for use in my hobby of PBM - the spreadsheet includes an order form for players to submit instructions but with 1 player i am experiencing problems that I cannot fathom why it is happening Upon emailing my spreadsheet, one of the cells in a hidden and protected part of the form keeps changing, the formula changes for no obvious reason creating an error as it is then trying to bring in/read data from an invalid cell. This only happens with this 1 person, everyone else who receives the exact same spreadsheet has no issue, the formula does not change and the spreadsheet works as intended - just not for this one person. the cell is hidden and protected, the sheet is also password protected - it should not be possible for this cell to change but it does. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Both myself and the recipient of the spreadsheet run office 365 so there should be no issue with compatibility. as i say it is happening only to this one person, nobody else, and i do not understand why - looking for ideas on how to resolve this issue!!35Views0likes3CommentsNested App Authentication (NAA) token to protect middle-tier server
I'm working on an outlook addin and want to use the NAA accesstoken to validate the user on an api running on a php webserver. The addin runs as a taskepane (created with yo office) with the app only manifest. I have setup NAA to do Microsoft graph calls on behalf of the user. I have used this guid to setup NAA (copy/past) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/develop/enable-nested-app-authentication-in-your-add-in I have setup a php server (not in Microsoft infrastruktur) for a simple API, that handlers MySQL calls and app only calls to Microsoft graph. The php api authenticate itself with a client secret from the Azure app registration. Both are working as expected. Can i use the accesstoken from the NAA, to authenticate the user on the php server? If it can be done how do I validate the token?4Views0likes0CommentsUpdating the Entra ID Password Protection Policy with the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK
The Entra ID password protection policy contains settings that affect how tenants deal with passwords. Entra ID includes a default policy that doesn’t require additional licenses. Creating a custom password protection policy requires tenant users to have Entra P1 licenses. As explained in this article, once the licensing issue is solved, it’s easy to update the policy settings with PowerShell. https://office365itpros.com/2025/10/23/password-protection-policy-ps/11Views0likes0CommentsDelete cells with 3 consecutive consonants
I submitted a question a little while back asking how to delete cells with exactly 3 consonants. The response I had was a huge help, but now I'm faced with a similar problem: How do I sort words by consecutive consonants? And if that cannot be achieved, how can I instead delete cells from a sheet in which a word has 3 consecutive consonants?6Views0likes0CommentsWord, PPT issues specifically with client version 2019

Hi, I have a personal email on outlook.com (with Microsoft 365 Familly). I always use the web client from https://outlook.live.com. If I send an Email to a non existant address, I never receive any NDR. I have check my spam folder, there is nothing. I have no rules, no Email transfert, no IMAP configuration, no POP configuration, ... That seems useless, but some time I wait some answer from people, and I discover after weeks that I have made a small error in their Email. I already miss important business because off that. And I can't call my client each time I send an Email to be sure they get it. How can I receive the NDR ? Thanks for your help.22Views0likes2CommentsWhat is the best OKR Software for Microsoft 365?
So... It is finally happening. Viva Goals is less than two months from shutting down. With Viva Goals having been built by Microsoft for Microsof users, it had a certain advantage over other apps in the app store. So now, what do you all think is the best OKR Software for Microsoft 365? Because I'm pretty sure even though they were warned well in advance, there are probably some organizations still using Viva Goals that will need to switch fast!12Views0likes0CommentsTaking text from a multi-line cell and making each line its own row.
Hello, I have a sheet with several thousand lines that I pulled from my current system, and all of the data was exported into cells like this: What I would like to do is take each line and make that line its own row in the sheet. For example, the scooter would have its own row, the MWC have its own row, so on and so forth. Is there any way this is possible, or should I be looking to see if there is any other way I can export this data?29Views0likes0CommentsImportant Change Coming for Entra ID Passkeys in November 2025
Entra ID is about to introduce passkey profiles, a more granular approach to passkey settings. The change is good, but you might like to check the current passkey settings to make sure that the values inherited by the new default passkey profile behave the way that you want. In particular, check attestation enforcement to make sure that the right kind of passkeys are used. https://office365itpros.com/2025/10/22/passkey-setting-policy/25Views0likes0CommentsWord document crashes
Every time I leave my word document open in my iPads and search for something and then get back to the document, it crashes, that is, it suddenly disappears. I did all the available suggestions to solve the problem including “clear all the documents,” “delete sing-in credentials,” and “reset cloud settings” in Setting of my iPads (11 and 12). I even deleted the app and downloaded it again. None of them worked. Of course, I don’t have the same problem with my old iPad, 10. That’s killing me.2Views0likes0CommentsUnicode characters conflation?
In the find and replace tool in Word (ctrl+H) I would like to replace the left single quotation mark [ ' = U+2018] with the upper left double quotation mark [ “ = U+201C] (to insert the Unicode values I use the hex value and Alt+X.). Yet, Word consistently replaces the latter with the lower left single quotation mark [ „ = U+201E]. Is this me doing something wrong, or is it a bug?3Views0likes0CommentsPivot Table/Slicers Skipping Month
Hello, I have a Pivot Table where I use data slicers. A couple of the data fields are "Year" and "Month". When I updated the PT with data for October it treats the new data like it is November instead. I reviewed the following: I verified in the data that there was no incorrect month put in. So there is nowhere in the data where the "Year" = 2025, and the "Month" = "11". The data that was added to the table has the correct "Year" of 2025, and the correct "Month" of 10. I verified that the pivot table was set to view all months, which it is (there is data going back to Jan of 2024.). An additional filter is "Did we answer your question/concern?". This is set to No, and there were three "No's" in October. If I remove the data for October, then the PT removes the info showing for November. Including screenshots of the info. Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this?108Views0likes2CommentsImpossible d'installer Windows 10 22h2
Merci pour votre aide.29Views0likes1CommentFormat appearance of EXCEL spreadsheet
