Urgent: Teams app publishing process blocked - app does not appear in the store after approval
Hello everyone, i am contacting you regarding a problem with the publishing of my Microsoft Teams app that started yesterday and is blocking my development work. Problem description: After developing a new version of my MS Teams app, I can no longer successfully publish it in my organization. The app is uploaded in the Developer Portal, released in the Teams Admin Center, but then does not appear in the Teams App Store under "Built for your org", so I cannot test it. Chronology: I am an admin in my organization and am developing a Teams app Before yesterday, the publishing process went smoothly: Upload in the Developer Portal → Appearance in the App Store → Test Yesterday, a colleague installed the app for testing purposes Since then, I can no longer publish new versions (they do not appear in the App Store) The upload and release in the Admin Center work without an error message However, the app does not appear in the App Store afterwards, neither in the desktop client nor in the web client Attempts have already been made to solve this: Completely restarted Teams client several times App version increased in manifest (to 1.2.0) App deleted and re-uploaded in Developer Portal App deleted and re-released in Teams Admin Center Waited for a delay of several hours Cleared cache (as far as possible on Mac) Test in web client (with the same result) Special observations: In the Mac client, the button "Upload a custom app" is grayed out with the note to contact my IT admin (I am the admin myself) On the Service Health Page, there is an active incident with the ID MO1093370 that affects Microsoft Teams I suspect that the issue is related to the current service degradation, which is described in the health page as "An infrastructure component is not processing requests as efficiently as expected" and explicitly affects Microsoft Teams. Is there a way to fix or work around this issue so that I can continue my development work? Can you confirm whether there is a connection with the current service degradation? Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards Michael12Views0likes1CommentCustom Teams AI Bot does not have attachment button
My team is developing a custom teams AI bot that allows for file uploads. When testing this feature using the edge and chrome debugging, the attachment button does not appear, or it will appear for a moment and then disappear. This seems to be an ongoing issue, and we would like to know if it has a simple remedy or if this problem needs to be escalated to Microsoft Engineers. Hi team, I'm trying to post an adaptive card to teams via power automate. Below is the preview of adaptive card in adaptive card designer where it works as expected: Below is what I see in teams after it is posted: As you can see the image is left aligned for some reason while the text block remained intact. The strange thing is this has been functioning as expected until last week. Even existing cards posted to teams has been broken. One of my co-workers asked me a question a few days back can we access Queues App in Teams without having Teams premium license and how it will improve Customer Service as this app is available for General Availability Channel? Can we access Queues App in Teams without having Teams premium license? Answer : No, we need to assign Teams premium license, phone license and voice enabled user in order to make the Queues App available for the user. How it will improve Customer Service as this app is now available for General Availability Channel? The Queues App is designed for managing call queues and auto attendants. The allows the team leads or supervisors set up and control these features directly from the Teams app, without needing extra help from administrators. Key Features of the Queues App Agent Management: Agents can choose which call queues they want to be part of, and managers can also assign agents to queues as needed, making staffing easier. Real-Time Statistics: The app provides live data on call queues. It shows the number of waiting calls, average response time, longest wait time, and service levels. This helps supervisors make better decisions. Collaboration and Reporting: Teams can work together while reviewing call queue data and managing auto attendants. The app also allows real-time monitoring and reporting, depending on user permissions. Summary: The Queues App provides excellent call management features, but it isn't a full-fledged contact center solution. It lacks advanced capabilities such as intelligent call routing, in-depth reporting, and call recording. To access these functionalities, businesses may need to integrate a third-party solution within Microsoft Teams.15Views0likes0CommentsMulti-Account into the new Teams
Hi, i'm using the new teams app for University and Personal Stuff. If i log-in my first account logged is the university account and, if i want to switch it's like a new teams page is open letting ALSO the previous opened. If i go to close the previous account window, all teams service will be closed, closing also the one i want to stay opened. It is simply horrible. Please just improved the account switcher system making a true switch from account to account letting just an instance opened. Hello, As the ability to create multi-tenant bots in Azure will be discontinued after July 31, 2025, I’d like to ask if there are any viable alternatives available now? If I create a single-tenant bot and publish it to the Teams App Store, will users from other tenants still be able to interact with the bot? Additionally, will the bot be able to access their basic user profile information (only user name and aadObjectId) and conversation data? From my understanding, access tokens obtained using the client ID and client secret are tenant-scoped, meaning they are not valid across other tenants. As a result, the bot cannot access user information such as profile photos or email addresses from users in other tenants — is that correct? I'd really appreciate any clarification or recommended best practices on this. Thank you!30Views0likes1CommentChange Teams App Domain
I have a multi tenant app available in the Teams App store. I have to change the domain for that app due to Azure CDN Standard from Microsoft (classic) being retired. Instead of a ".azureedge.net" domain I'd like to use my own subdomain going forward. To prevent service disruptions I would like to host the app frontend on two domains simultaniously and then change the domain in a manifest update. However, it seems the App Registration Resource (Application ID URI) needs to contain the domain name for Teams to allow access to the app, otherwise I get the following error message: Get SSO token failed with error: App resource defined in manifest and iframe origin do not match Creating a new app registration would mean every customer would need to grant access again to my app registration. What is the recommended approach to changing domains for a Teams app?25Views0likes2CommentsMigrating Skype Chats

Persistent Bluetooth Headset Issues in Microsoft Teams
Many users, including myself, have encountered persistent issues using Bluetooth headsets with Microsoft Teams, particularly in the desktop app. Common problems include: Audio Output Problems: Low audio quality or no audio at all. Microphone Issues: The microphone does not function consistently or at all. Connection Drops: Devices disconnect unexpectedly during or after breakout sessions. Specific Trigger Points: These issues are often limited to Teams and do not occur in other applications. Notable Observations: Disabling the "Handsfree Telephony" service on the headset in Windows resolves many of these problems but renders the headset as a simple audio output device, necessitating an external microphone. The issues seem prevalent across various brands (e.g., Jabra, Poly Voyager, Sony, Bose) These issues are frustrating, especially since they are less frequent in other apps like Zoom or on the Teams web app. It seems related to how Teams interacts with Bluetooth profiles (A2DP vs. HFP) and prioritizes them during meetings. Action for the Community: To help Microsoft prioritize this issue, I’ve submitted detailed feedback on the Microsoft Teams Feedback Portal. If you’re experiencing similar problems, I encourage you to upvote and comment on the feedback to bring more visibility to this matter. Problem: We are attempting to deploy our Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) systems, some of which are already in use, using Windows Autopilot in self-deploying mode. Despite following the official guide, we keep encountering errors. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/autopilot-autologin Procedure: Device: Certified Intel NUC, previously in use. Installation: Windows 11 Pro installed. Autopilot Import: Device imported into Autopilot. Group Assignment: GroupTag "MTR-ConsoleName" assigned. Dynamic Group: Device appeared in the Dynamic MTR group. Assignments: Deployment Profile and ESP (Enrollment Status Page) assigned. Teams Room Update App: Deployed via Intune, assigned to the MTR group, and integrated into the ESP. LAPS: Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) is active. Teams Rooms Pro Console: Device appeared and was assigned to a resource account with a Teams Room Pro license. Error Description: After the setup process, we consistently encounter an error during device registration for mobile management: Error Code: 6, 0x80180014 Attempts to resolve the issue: Deleted the device completely from Intune and Autopilot and re-added it. Created a custom Device Restriction Policy to allow all devices in the group. Additionally, during one attempt where the error did not occur, Teams failed to set up automatically. Questions: Why does error 6, 0x80180014 occur during device registration for mobile management? Are there specific requirements or settings beyond the official guide that need to be considered? What steps can be taken to ensure that Teams sets up automatically when the registration error does not occur? Objective: We aim to ensure that the MTR systems are smoothly deployed via Autopilot in self-deploying mode and that Teams sets up automatically. This just started happening recently. When I am chatting with someone and I use the GIF icon to attach a gif, I see the gif just fine until I post the message, at which time the gif goes away and is replaced by a link titled "Sent a GIF". Clicking on the link takes me to the image on giphy.com. The person I'm chatting with sees it fine. Is there a setting for this somewhere? Why is this happening?Solved101KViews7likes46Comments[REQUEST]
Is there any foreseen capabilities in Team's channel which could act as a forum ? So, create a Forum channel type would be perfect, and here is why: 1. Within Teams, it is commonly to find use-cases where a community drops some issues, questions and so on, and being able to : - pin discussions/communications - set tags and filter them - Mark as solved (which may help others, and save ans best answer) sort based on people following would be a perfect integrations. looking forward to see the answers.36Views1like3CommentsWhen screen sharing people see black screen
Hi, I had Thinkpad laptop and was using additional monitor on and off without any issues and suddenly since 2-3 weeks, when I am trying to share my screen, people are just seeing black screen. This is with both option i,e. when using laptop alone and also with additional monitor. Note there were no issues earlier. Last weekend, I got a new laptop which is MS Surface 3, and after installing all MS apps on this machine, I am having the same issue. This is without any additional monitors. This is causing issues for me and my team and would appreciate quick resolution. Thanks and Regards, VirenSolved186KViews4likes53CommentsNative Teams Phone - Background Image

I have a few users that are using the Lists app in Microsoft Teams to track information and have a multi-line text column with enhanced rich text enabled. When a user enables dark mode in Microsoft Teams and fills out the field, it automatically sets the text color to white instead of changing how black text is presented on the screen. This is causing issues for their teammates because the white text shows on a white background for users with the default color settings in Teams. Are there any workaround recommendations other than: Turn off the enhanced rich text on the column Request that users don't use dark mode in Teams Have the dark mode users interact with the List from a browser that isn't using dark mode Here's a similar post from about a year ago - Microsoft Lists Enhanced Rich Text is not compatible with Teams' - Microsoft Community2.3KViews5likes4Comments
