Windows 10 Desktop Compatibility Program Submissions Begin Now!

You can now download the new Windows Hardware Lab Kit (HLK) for Windows 10 Desktop and start your testing and prepare to submit for the Windows 10 Desktop Compatibility Program. The Windows Hardware Developer Dashboard is also ready to accept submissions for all product types except for Graphics and Near Field Proximity (NFC). We will begin accepting Graphics and NFC submissions on May 15, 2015.


In order to do your Windows 10 Compatibility testing, you will need the final version of the Compatibility Program Playlist, which is available for download at http://sysdev.microsoft.com/en-US/Hardware/CompatibilityPlaylists/ .


http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=526777 to test and validate your products with the Windows 10 operating systems. The Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK) 2.1 must be used for certifying against the following operating systems:



  • Windows 7

  • Windows 8

  • Windows 8.1

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64)

  • Windows Server 2012

  • Windows Server 2012 R2
