Working with Power View: Some controls on this presentation can't be activated

When one of our Managers opened up the PowerPoint slide deck that Power View generated, he got the following error:

Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not be registered on this computer.

I had found some references to the RC0 timeline indicating that if you had PowerPoint x64 you would get this issue because the Silverlight 5 x64 bits had not been release yet, so there was a platform mismatch.  However, in this person’s case, he was running the 32bit version of PowerPoint.

When he checked the version of Silverlight, he discovered that he was running version 4.1.

I pointed him to the Silverlight 5 download to install the latest bits.  After that was done everything was working as expected.
